New Year’s Resolutions

I never did a New Year’s Resolution post. So, here it is…

  • Wash dinner dishes at night instead of the next morning.
  • Clean kitchen floor weekly.
  • Continue my policy of not stacking papers everywhere.
  • Open mail, purge, pay, file.
  • Make more crockpot meals.
  • Grocery shop more regularly.
  • Hold a yard sale in Spring and get rid of extra ride-on vehicles no one rides.
  • Find an income source…get a job or turn a profit with this blogging thingie
  • Post daily or at least three times a week over at www.typeamom.net
  • Post daily or whenever possible at www.addsyou.com
  • Post articles on www.BlogHer.com
  • Doing something with this hideous blogger template…a new blog header, three common format, purchase a domain name, get a background.

You are so ambitious! Great goals! I need to make some….before January is over.

Such a cute story about your daughter and the crib!

I don’t even know how you link to things, but of course, you can link to anything you want. You are SO smart at this blogging thing : )

Those are some great goals-I need to lay all mine out to see as well!

Don’t know if you’ve seen, I’m actually giving away the chance to win a custom blog design-one way to help you with a goal 😉

I love your New Year’s resolutions. They’re specific, attainable and meaningful to you.

Your last goal is about your blog. I like the soft green background color and my tired, strained eyes appreciate the black text on white. But, if you’re looking for a fresh look, you can do a lot just with Blogger. You don’t necessarily need to start with a new template. From your Dashboard, click on your blog’s Layout. You can add/change/remove Elements (sections) of your blog. You can change the fonts and colors and even edit the HTML code. I widened my margins to have more usable space. And I like to remove the Blogger banner at the top. Need help? Contact me and I’d be happy to walk you thru it.

Another goal is to turn a profit with your blog. One way to do that is to market products that aren’t available at Walmart. Then, drive traffic to your blog. I’m with a company that has patented products that are never sold in stores. And I’m learning Internet marketing, using more than just my blog. With the advice and support of my mentor and coach, I’m about to start a new Internet marketing campaign. So, my advice would be to find someone who’s doing what you want to do.

I think you’re doing great. I wish you peace, happiness, good health and success in the New Year.

    ~Marilyn
