Need a Little Help Entertaining: A Giveaway!

A few years ago I attended a very formal and fancy holiday party at a friend’s house. Uniformed waiters handed out tray after tray of hors d’oeuvres. Our host mingled with her guests the whole evening. I complimented my friend on how calm and relaxed she looked. She revealed that she had spent 2 weeks cooking and baking the appetizers and desserts served at the party. I marvelled at her powers of planning and organization.

Planning it’s an interesting word, isn’t it? Just thinking the word “planning” can make me feel tense. I embark upon planning an birthday or holiday party with the best of intentions, but somehow time runs away from me. By the time I know it I am in panic mode running from grocery store to party store to liquor store and back to the grocery store for a myriad of forgotten, but must have items.

Planning an event is further complicated by my lack of fancy culinary skills. I do not know how to prepare tasty and attractive appetizers and finger foods — my cooking skills are not that refined. While I love hosting holiday get-togethers and parties at my house, I often feel I spend more time doing last minute food preparation, serving, and cleaning up than I do mingling with my guests.

Nancys Appetizers enables moms to elegantly entertain by providing delicious, gourmet frozen appetizers, and desserts that will have the whole crowd raving. These appetizers will make my guest want for more…so delicious and tasty! My faves are the Mushroom Turnovers and Deli Spirals.  Ready in just minutes, I can take the time to focus on my party and delight in catching up with family and friends.

From cheese soufflés, to mushroom turnovers, crab cakes, petite quiches, and pastry tarts, the Nancy’s line serves up a delectable spread that has something for everyone. With the price-point of $4 to $13 per package, they can fit easily with your entertaining budget. Add them to the list of items to stock up on at your local grocery or club store to keep on hand for spontaneous drop-ins! You can find the nearest store to pick up Nancy’s or go online to find entertaining tips and recipes at www.Nancys.com.

Oooo, great giveaway! And its probably guacamole for me. I end up eating so many chips or whatever I’m putting it on, just because I want to eat more of the guac.

I really like the little quiches – really, anything with pastry & cheese, esp. the spinach things. Oh, and the warm spinach-artichoke dip – yum!
