A Giveaway to Help Mom Be the Chief Memory Officer

If you are on twitter as much as I am, you will notice the plethora of hashtags. On any given day, who knows how many are buzzing around. This week’s hashtag #CES and #KZone.

#CES is the The Consumer Electronics Show 2010 — happening now through January 10th in Las Vegas, NV. CES is the largest trade show held for consumer electronics and features products and the companies that create them. Quite a few twitter moms are there Maria, Amy, and many others. Even my favorite Real Housewife is there. Is there anyone more down-to-earth in an “I’ve got money, but I’m not flaunting it way” than Jill Zarin?

If you want to get to know Jill Zarin tune in to the #KZone, otherwise known as the live stage at the Kodak section of the CES. Yesterday’s session are available here: http://kzonelive.com/17.html. Today’s sessions are here.

Yesterday’s offerings…

I don’t know if I have a favorite age to photograph. I just know that some kids are so easy to photograph–and others, not so much. I have a niece who’s 7; she’s always ready to strike a pose for the camera and flash her darling smile. My two boys, on the other hand, roll their eyes with dread when I bring the camera out–always have.

Favorite stage/age to photograph for me is 2 to 4 years old because at that age children have such cute and sincere facial expressions and they react so naturally to situations. Catching moments like discovering butterflies or peering into fish tanks at the zoo is so much fun.

  162. Erin Walsh

I actually prefer to photograph pets and the puppy stage is pretty fun, although the adults are much easier to hold still.

  172. brooke
    January 15, 2010 at 12:54 am

Would have to be the toddlers. They are discovering all these new things and everything is exciting. Still fast enough that you have to keep up to get good pictures but not so fast that you have to chase them down and beg for photos…

my favorite age to photograph is when children are i’d say the first grade or so. I always think it’s a kick to take pic of my nieces and nephew when they are loosing their baby teeth and they have a pumpkin grin. it’s just darling!
