On our last trip to TJ Maxx my 5th grader choose a graduation dress. The dress…it was black and white and strapless. It was inexpensive, too. It is odd to shop with a preteen and NOT break the bank. Preteens have the knack for choosing the most expensive item ALL THE TIME. Preteens also do not do sale racks.
At TJ Maxx you don’t need to do sale racks. You can look at all items in the store not just the items on the beleagured sale rack. TJ Maxx has some awesome brands — I was shocked that I was able to get two nice blouses and two pairs of pants for an upcoming blogging get-together. I was able to walk around at the event wearing outfits that I felt good in. For me, I need to feel good about what I wear. TJ Maxx has what I want to wear.

I absolutely hate shopping for bathing suits 🙂

My worst shopping experience is going to buy clothing for my husband (with him along). He’s very picky and takes forever trying on everything in the store, only to end up leaving with nothing.

My worst shopping experience has got to be shopping for a bathing suit. How is it, one thinks she looks better before the suit is on? Why are so many suits so unflattering to women?

My worst shopping experience is when I have to go shopping for new shoes. I have a wider foot and sometimes I can’t find any to fit without feeling really tight.

I agree, bra shopping is hideous. I also hate being followed incessantly with “May I Help You??” constantly. I had to buy a strapless bra for a bridesmaid dress, and that goes down as the worst experience, it was like trying to fit two watermelons into a coffee cup. Ugh.

My worst shopping experience was when Jared was an infant and I was trying on a shirt and leaked breastmilk all over it (needless to say, I bought the shirt). LOL

Oh I’m SOOO with you on the bra thing.. not just the creepy girl on girl action but being a DD I can’t shop anywhere but like Fred-FREAKS-of-Hollywood so I end up with sparkly, pleather boob holders.. never a classy thing.
