Pucker Up for the Neosporin 3-Day Challenge

Winter is wonderful if…there is snow on the ground. And the snow must be pristine, white, freshly fallen snow…not slushy, brown, bracken-ish snow. With snow on the ground, I can survive low temperatures, wind chill, and bone-chilling cold. But, take away the snow and add in the cold, you would be left with a miserable, sniffling, chapped lips version of me shivering with her jacket zipped to the neck.

Cold does a number on anything it touches, right? Hands? Put gloves on now! Ankles? Wear longer pants and thicker socks and yes boots would be a good idea. Head? Pull down that hat? But, lips? Poor, wittle lips are exposed to the cold all. through. the. winter.

Short of wearing one of those bank-robber pulled down over the entire face with eye, nose, and mouth slits balaclava helmets, our poor lips are exposed to cold. In our family, it is not unusual to find chapped lips on at least 3 out of 5 of us. Some of us chew/lick our lips which adds to the general misery quotient.

The cold, dry air and brittle winds of winter inevitably leave our lips chapped, dehydrated, and damaged. Many of us dread this season as we come to expect uncomfortable lip-splitting and cracking, fading color and scaly texture. To help repair and protect lips from the harsh cold-weather elements, Neosporin introduces Neosporin Lip Health Overnight Renewal Therapy and Neosporin Lip Health Daily Hydration Therapy. Clinically shown to restore visibly healthier lips in just 3 days, these formulas help lips become more hydrated, smoother, and appear back to their normal tone.

neosporinI participated in the 3-Day Neosporin Challenge — me and my chapped, nibbled lips. The Neosporin Daily Hydration Therapy cream was awesome…in fact it was so effective that it is currently missing. Possible locations…the teen’s lunch bag…the pocket of the preteen’s sweatshirt…the junk drawer. Who knows? The daily hydration therapy cream was a hit…even if I can’t find it!
