I looked high and low in the pantry. Searched shelf after shelf. Looked in boxes…and bags. All I needed was to find one bag. An empty bag would do. But, alas the children in this house have devoured every last morsel in every last bag. Sigh. At least I know they thought it was good!
What was the food that was much sought after in my home? Pillsbury Baguette Chips. I had been sent 6 bags of this new chip from Pillsbury for review. Three bags were the Italian Cheese & Herb flavor. The other three bags were Cheddar Sundried Tomato. From the nibbles I had I can tell you that these new Baguette Chips are…or should I say were…very tasty. I especially liked the Cheddar Sundried Tomato Chips.
You’ll have to excuse the fact that I don’t have photos of the Pillsbury Baguette Chips or anyone eating the Pillsbury Baguette Chips or even the empty bags. The empty bags — that I can’t find — are an example of how a couple of Teens and a Kid can devour a snack if the snack is particularly yummy.
I tend to think of Pillsbury as the maker of those yummy crescent rolls. Looks like Pillsbury are moving in to the snack food market. Pillsbury Baguette Chips can be eaten alone, with dip. in soup, or even as a topping to a salad. One serving of about 21 baguette chips is about 130 calories with 50% less fat than regular chips.
