DrWeigh.com: Giveaway!

A few weeks ago I met Dr. Joanna Dolgoff at the Subway/NIH We Can! PEP Rally. Dr. Dolgoff runs an Online Weight Management Program for Children and Teens called DrWeigh.com.

Dr. Dolgoff’s Weigh is a traffic-light based nutrition plan in which all foods have been divided into red light, yellow light, and green light categories. Simply enter your child’s height and weight and the computer calculates how many green or yellow light foods should be eaten at each meal and snack. Each child also gets two red light foods each week to enjoy! There is no calorie-counting and no foods are off limits.

The program simply teaches kids which foods are healthiest, what an appropriate serving size looks like, and the normal give-and-take of normal eating; your child can go to a party have a piece of pizza and some cake using the red light foods and then make healthier choices the rest of the week! For more information on what the online program includes, go to DrWeigh.com.

DrWeigh is trying to make a difference one child at a time. Go to DrWeigh.com to read about the success stories. Dr. Dolgoff’s Weigh has a 96% weight loss success rate!

I am giving away a one FREE month subscription to the DrWeigh.com on-line program.

To enter to win leave a comment about a red light food that you love or your child love by 11:59 p.m. on Tuesday, April 28.

Our family red light foods are chips and salsa — Coach Dad, chocolate — Musings from Me, fast food — Crafty Daughter, candy of any sort — Sporty Daughter, and juice — Adventure Boy.

Our family tries to stay away from fast food, but it can be so hard when you are in a rush (plus it just tastes so good!). I love how she uses red, yellow, and green to simplify eating habits.
