Have you ever clicked through channels and found NOTHING on? I’m sure you have. Like me you probably think of the Bruce Springsteen song “57 Channels and there’s nothing on” as you scroll through the channels.
Truthfully, there’s always something on TV, but is it something you want to watch? The key factor is choice. You need a good selection of channels to select programming from. Local TV programming is fine to a point, but you need a satellite service of some sort. A satellite service like direct tv offers local channels, packages of channels, and even premium channels like HBO and Showtime. Plus the signal on a service like directtv is so much stronger and the picture on your TV will be so much clearer.
You’ll probably still have times where you scroll from channel to channel without finding anything. But, like me, chances are good that within a minute or two of channel surfing you will find a show that piques your interest.
My go-to shows are reality shows. I can’t get enough of the Real Housewives franchise. Find me a Hoarders or an Intervention I am riveted to the TV. I hate to say it but watching some reality shows makes me feel better about my home and particularly my parenting!
