As a mom of teens, tweens, and kids, online safety is my thing. Must have it. Must teach it to my kids. Must make sure that kids are safe while browsing the internet, e-mailing, and so forth. At home and at school and on vacation.
For the past year, I have blogged about online safety to my online friends. My kids are online at home and at school. The youngest has limited online access…usually to Webkinz, Yoursphere, or Club Penguin. Soon enough he will be online, too. My job as a parent is to ensure that my kids know how to navigate the internet safely and efficiently.
My searching for a safe internet site for kids and tweens led to Yoursphere.com. Yoursphere is a safe place for my kids to play online. If you have a kid, a tween, or a young teen, you must check Yoursphere out.
With my at-home crew of friends, I have hosted several fundraisers at the schools my children attend. The fundraisers were to promote Yoursphere, a social network for kids and tweens that puts safety first. Yoursphere is now FREE!!
