Win $25 of Products from ecostore USA!

Eco-friendly or green cleaning products are the talk of the town. My buying philosophy is combination of “buy green” and “save green.” Green in the latter case would be money. Saving money while shopping leads me to the mecca of shopping, the Holy Grail of shopping…Costco. I wrote a post on Costco over at TypeAMom. In my quest to buy and save green I found out about ecostore USA. If I can save green and buy green at the same time, I am a happy camper.

ecostore USA is part of a 20-year-old New Zealand company that makes plant-based, non-toxic household cleaning, baby, and personal care products that contain No Nasty Chemicals(tm).

I got the chance to try a couple of ecostore’s products. I tried out the Manuka Sandalwood Shampoo. The shampoo is especially good for dandruff control. I have an on again off again problem with dandruff. I don’t know if you are like me, but I love a sniffy shampoo. The Manuka Sandalwood Shampoo smells like lavender…mmm, nice. The shampoo was easy to apply and remove. I often have problems removing shampoo from my hair due to having well water. Seriously I’ve stood in the shower for 10 minutes trying to get shampoo out of my hair, only to get out of the shower and realize that my hair still has shampoo in it. Annoying. No such problems with Manuka Sandalwood Shampoo. I was also pleasantly surprised after three days of use to find I had less of a dandruff problem. I will continue to use this shampoo.

I’m constantly buying toilet cleaner for obvious reasons. Some brands work and some brands don’t. Frustrating. The ecostore Toilet Cleaner did a good job on all of the toilets in my house. I would definitely buy this product. The ecostore product is made of pine, citrus, oil, and sassafras.

Would you like to try http://www.ecostoreusa.com/ products? ecostore USA is giving away $25 worth of products from its store to a reader of Musings from Me.

Here are the rules:

1. Go to http://www.ecostoreusa.com/. Come back and tell me what ecostore product would love to have.

2. Sign up for the feed to this blog — see sidebar for button.

Giveaway ends March 25.
