I’m in a race, of sorts. But, I’m not sure where I am going. Every feel like every day you are really simply racing from Point A to Point B with a pit stop at Point C before heading back home at some point? A rat race, of sorts.
Mornings start later than usual. You know how it is. After getting three kids on three buses to three schools with three backpacks, three lunchboxes, three permission slips…I am exhausted. Even weekends are busy with swim meets, volleyball tournaments, school projects, and household stuff. So, a busy day followed by a late night of working is a recipe for a sleepy me once the kids are off to school. I’ve been known to catch a quick or not so quick catnap.
But, back to today. No napping for me. Lots to do. I feel mostly rested. We’ll see how I feel at the 3 p.m. slump!
