This past Saturday we took the kid, the preteen, and the teen to see Where the Wild Things Are. A huge thumbs up from all of us. I was wondering how the kids would do because we had:
– a teen who had little to no interest in seeing a kiddie movie even though she loved the book.
– a preteen who can be scared by Star Trek episodes or anything not currently showing on the Disney Channel.
– a kid who loved the book, but the movie was a worry to us as it is not recommended for under 9 years of age.
As the youngest child, my son has been exposed to more movies than the average 6-year-old, so Where the Wilds Things Are did not bother him much at all.
Have you seen any movies on IMAX? We have seen a few movies at the Maryland Science Center. Spectacular!
