The Unilever Penthouse at #BlogHer was fun. “Fun” really is an inadequate word to describe the awesomeness of the event…hair, makeup, reflexology, food sampling, crafting, and more was on tap at the Unilever event.
I wasn’t sure how Unilever would showcase its food line and skin care products in the same space…but the Unilever people did a good job. The event was held in the penthouse of a hotel — the Royalton Hotel.
The food products were housed in a room that looked like a kitchen…perhaps it was a kitchen. In any event it was very well done. I sampled everything from the new P.F. Chang’s frozen meals to I Can’t Believe It’s Not Butter as I walked from display table to display table. After a long day of running from event to event I appreciated the food and drinks!

The other rooms featured reflexology with Suave body lotion, an arm massage, a decorate a pair of flip flops area, and a recreation of a tween’s room of today and one from my generation. The tween’s room of today has changed from the tween’s room of my generation that was on display. My tween’s nightstand is a mess of cords and electronic devices and charging stations. When I was a tween, my instamatic camera was the lone electronic device in my bedroom.
Rosalind Wiseman signed books while sitting at the desk in the tween’s room at the Unilever Penthouse. She’s the author of Queen Bees and Wannabees. My tween and teen loved the signed copy!
