Get Revved up with Big G Cereals! [Giveaway]

I’ve fought the good fight. You know the fight where you tell your MIL to not send over sweets and candy bars and — oh my goodness — chocolates. I’m not against candy. Everything is good…in moderation. It’s the moderation part that gets tricky in our home.

I want my children to learn to make good choices. When faced with a veritable wall of sweets in the pantry from their grandparents, it is hard for them to make decisions about food. Some decisions need to be made by mom. Don’t tell my MIL, but I sometimes throw out the overflow candy. I leave a few pieces in the pantry drawer.

One favorite treat that my kids love and I can stand behind is Big G cereals from General Mills. All Big G cereals are made with whole grains. The cereals satisfy the kids sweet tooth and are a reasonable sweet treat. My kids eat Big G cereals as an after dinner snack or as breakfast on weekends.

I was sent five boxes of cereals from General Mills and Hot Wheels through MyBlogSpark. The pack included all our family faves…Cheerios for Mom, Cinnamon Toast Crunch for the Tween, Lucky Charms for the Teen, Reese’s Puffs for the Kid, and Cookie Crisp for Dad. We munched through those boxes in no time at all. It is true that teens will eat you out of house and home. Having boxes of cereal handy is good for an afterschool snack.

Oh, and you know what the best part was? The boxes — all five of them — contained a Hot Wheels pullback racer. Gotta love Hot Wheels!

Starting January 24th, inside each participating cereal box (Cheerios® 14 oz, Cinnamon Toast Crunch® 17 oz, Lucky Charms® 16 oz, Reese´s Puffs® 18 oz, and Cookie Crisp® 15.6 oz), there is one of four custom-designed collectable Hot Wheels®pullback racers. Each car contains a code to unlock an exciting online racing game.
