Soy Joy: A Surprisingly Good Bar

Our morning routine begins with breakfast. I have to get one husband and three children out the door at four different times. Breakfast is a necessity, but due to time constraints the quality of the breakfast varies.

On rush-rush mornings my go-to breakfast for the kids and husband is a cereal bar or toaster pastry. We have tried many different types of bars and pastries over the years. The verdict: All of the bars and pastries we have tried are too crumbly and messy to eat while racing down the driveway to the bus. Until Soy Joy came along

SOYJOY is the lone exception to the crumble rule. SOYJOY bars are moist. SOYJOY bars don’t disintegrate when the wrapper is opened. SOJOY’s newest flavors — banana and blueberry — have a taste and aroma reminiscent of freshly baked banana nut or blueberry muffins. All SOYJOY flavors – Banana, Blueberry, Strawberry, Berry, Apple Walnut, and Mango Coconut – are hitting stores nationwide in their lighter and fruitier forms right now.

SOYJOY Bars resizedSOYJOY has great all-natural, minimally processed ingredients, like ground whole soybeans and real fruit. As always, SOYJOY is completely free of trans fats, hydrogenated oils, artificial colors and flavors, preservatives, and chemical additives. My teen loved the Blueberry. I like the Banana.

In celebration of the new SOYJOY and in the spirit of second chances, SOYJOY is also hosting the Second Chances Contest. You can enter to win one of three $1,000 prizes by briefly telling your personal story about a time you did not make the best first impression but, with a second chance, turned it into a joyous ending. Visit SOYJOY’s Facebook page (www.facebook.com/soyjoy) to upload your story in a 30-second video or in 100 words — and don’t forget to ask your friends to vote! The submission period will close October 3 — still time to enter! Tell your friends!

You can find SOYJOY in the nutrition bar aisle of fine grocery, drug, mass merchandise, health, natural, food and convenience stores. Find a local retailer and all product details on SOYJOY.com. The suggested retail price per bar is $1.29.

I wrote this review while participating in a blog campaign by Mom Central on behalf of SOYJOY and received samples of their nutritional bars to facilitate my candid review. Mom Central also sent me a gift card to thank me for taking the time to participate.
