My family goes through A LOT of hand soap. I’m constantly refilling the pump dispensers. I credit my family’s use of hand soaps for how little we get sick. I have always taught and modeled thorough hand washing. When my children were little, we would sing the ABC song as we washed hands. When I was toilet training, washing hands was key to my children learning to use the bathroom. Now that my children are a little older, hand washing remains an integral part of staying healthy not just in winter time but throughout the year.
