I just got a cardio workout vacuuming my entire house with the hose attachment since the main part of the vacuum is broken. Oh, my back, my aching back. And, to top it off I have two daughters, so when I wasn’t bending over to vacuum, I was bending down to pick up hair accessories, odd socks, Webkinz, and other flotsam and jetsam on the floor of their rooms. Dyson take me away.
My vacuum cleaner situation is dire. I currently have:
- a small Dirt Devil with a broken handle
- a Hoover Windtunnel 2 that only works when I use the hose attachment as the main part is clogged
- an Electrolux that is in need of a belt replacement. I have the belt but need to replace it.
- an ancient dustbuster
Clearly I am hard on vacuum cleaners. It is not that I vacuum on a daily basis or anything crazy like that. It is that I consistently catch the edges of walls with the vacuum cleaner. I have the scuffed base boards to prove it. My carpets are lint-free, but the toll is has taken on my vacuum cleaners is not pretty
So, vacuum cleaner manufacturers out there. Any chance of sending over a vacuum for review. I would certainly put your vacuum through its paces. That is for sure.
