O.K. I need to get my act together and post more than one every three weeks. Lots goes on here at the old homestead. I spent lots of time on the computer. Yet I don’t post everyday. I need to fix.
So here goes… a very condensed version of my life over the last three weeks. In order of family member:
9-year-old strep, missed two days of school, doctor’s appt., antibiotics, got glasses, anxious to start a new sport…lacrosse (I am anxious that she not get hit by ball or stick…eeek), enjoyed Spring Break…had friend over, went to the mall, saw Horton Hears a Who
12-year-old strep, missed Easter Sat. and Sun. celebrations–she was not happy to miss buffet food, made a valiant effort to get her math under control, lost her “devices with a plug” AKA cell phone, DS, video camera (why, yes she is the eldest grandchild on both sides and very spoiled to boot!) for letting math get out of control, got back all her electronic devices when she got math back under control, enjoyed Spring break…except for sickness
me, sinus infections, missed the weekend in a fog, did two projects for my class, crashed and burned on one, kept afloat on another, there is hope for the next project.
4-year-old, had a bout of craziness and general mayhem, followed by sweet and lovableness phase, sure to be followed by more craziness. He’s cute. I can’t the fact that he will be in K next August. He is learning to sound out words. he swam the length of the pool this afternoon. He is growing up. Still a stinker, but a cute one at that.
Husband, sick as well, refused to see a dr. until today, lo and behold he has two medications to take, lots of late nights at work, crazy interview schedule to fill next year’s positions, staying afloat, keeps pestering me for Play Station 3, I keep saying no. Who is the adult here?
Well, that is all we have done. Must be more to our last three weeks, but I guess sickness has overshadowed all.
