A little while ago I posted about the
Yanni_Voices_PBS_Special. When
One2OneNetwork offered me the chance to review the actual CD — I was excited! You see listening to the sample tracks from Leslie Mills, Ender Thomas, Nathan Pacheco, and Chloe had left me wanting more. The CD did not disappoint.
The first song — Omaggio — is a soulful ballad sung by Nathan Pacheco with supporting vocals from Chloe. Chloe reprises with Set Me Free and Kill Me with Your Love — my two all-time favorites.
Leslie Mills — a twitter follower of mine @Leslie_Mills provides a quartet of songs. My particular favorite, Before the Night Ends is powerful and vibrant. In fact all of Leslie Mills songs are polished. I can see she has the potential to go far in the music industry.
Mi Todo Eres Tu/Until the Last Moment is a duet with Chloe and Ender Thomas — quite simply a melodious union of these two singers. Ender Thomas solos on Ritual de Amor/Desire — another haunting song.
Nathan Pacheco provides vocals for Unico Amore and Vivi Il Tuo Sogno — two powerful performances. I’m not an opera buff, but after listening to Nathan I might be persuaded to give opera a chance.
Yanni Voices re-interprets some of Yanni’s classic, inspired compositions and debuts new music, introducing four amazing young vocal artists, Nathan Pacheco, Chloe, Ender Thomas and Leslie Mills, all discovered and produced by Yanni and Ric Wake. Yanni’s pholosophy on music is stated on his website:
