Until 2006 I was a Ford mom through and through. I purchased a Mustang when I was a new graduate from college. I purchased a Ford Taurus in anticipation of the birth of my first child. When I could no longer squeeze a toddler, a baby, and all their assorted junk in to my Taurus, I made the leap to minivandom with a Ford Windstar.
Fast forward to 2006, when Ford had recall after recall for the Windstar. We were told it would cost $3000 to make our Windstar road worthy. We could not take the risk that the repairs would not work, so looked at Toyota Siennas.
The Sienna had what we wanted:
- it was reliable
- had added features not available in lower end models of minivans
- had comfortable seats. My kids are 7, 11, and 14.
- roomy trunk to store soccer chairs, luggage, and furniture
- 2nd row seats fold down
- 3 row seats fold in to floor to make room for large purchases like bikes and Little Tikes playhouses
I would definitely buy another Toyota!
