Purex: Not Just Detergent

This is one of those times when I wish I was doing a giveaway. But, I’m not. So, you will have to be satisfied by a review…but it’s a good one!

I’m not a “Yay, Let’s do housework!” kind of person. I’m more of a “We have no socks…I need to do laundry” type of person.

I was sent a sample pack of Purex 3-in-1 sheets to review. Each sheet is good for one wash cycle and one dryer cycle as well as an antistatic. The Purex 3-in-1 sheets are a about the size of a dryer sheet, but thicker in consistency.

I placed the Purex 3-in-1 sheet in the washer. At the end of the cycle the sheet looked exactly the same as when I placed it in the washer. It even had the same smell — sweet! I transferred the massive load of jeans to the dryer. At the end of the cycle the sheet looked the same and the jeans had a fresh look and scent to them. Yay Purex 3-in-1!

In a continuing bid to reduce the size of Mt. Laundry, I next tackled a load of towels, one more of whites, another of sheets, and finally more darks. Same result…clean, stain-free clothing and a sweet, freshly smelling scent to boot.

Purex 3-in-1 rocks my socks. Now if I could just find a detergent that would actually match up odd socks…
